The radiation used in various treatments can damage the basal layer of the epidermis.
Before irradiation, the skin may show various symptoms, depending on the cellular damage it presents.
Ureadin Rx Rd® is a lotion for hydration and special care of irradiated skin. It incorporates in its composition Ureadyl®, a compound of Urea and other active ingredients that reinforce its dermatological action and that is the result of Isdin's experience in the formulation with Urea. The presence of Ureadyl® in its formula enhances the recognized and proven hydrating capacity of Urea even at low concentrations.
The special combination of moisturizing, anti-pruritic, re-epithelizing, soothing and antioxidant assets, combined in an excipient specially developed for application on irradiated skin, moisturizes, soothes and prevents the desquamation of skin undergoing radiation therapy.
Technical description
Urea ISDIN 3%, Glicerina, Polidocanol, Niacinamida, Ácido Hialurónico, Pantenol, Arginina, Alantoína, Vitamina E.
Mode of use
- Pre-radioterapia: aplicar 3 veces al día, durante 3 semanas antes de iniciar el tratamiento de radioterapia.
- En radioterapia: aplicar 3 veces al día, durante el tratamiento de radioterapia. No aplicar el producto durante las 2 horas previas a la sesión.
- Post-radioterapia: aplicar 2 veces al día, durante al menos 1 mes.
